LCO has a number of professional telescopes in prime locations around the world. Most of the time, they are used by researchers doing science, but they offer blocks of free time to STEM education, usually during twilight.
I was lucky enough to meet Errol Simpson, a UK physics teacher who suggested a collaboration using the twin 2m telescopes at Haleakala Hawaii and Siding Spring in Australia.
